Since its inception, the Honda Civic has garnered a strong following among sedan lovers. And as the times have changed, the Civic has evolved along with it. One such example comes in the form of green technology. Now that a great deal of our nation's attention has been placed upon aiding our damaged environment, Honda has created two eco-friendly models to help facilitate change: the Honda Civic Hybrid and Civic CNG. Honda announced plans with Kumamoto Prefecture to advance their Electric Vehicle Testing Program for "next-generation personal mobility products," ie: electric vehicles (EVs). Honda announced earlier this month its plan for  Electric Vehicle Testing Programs in the US and Japan.
